Burger Burn at Sam's Club near the Lycoming Mall in Muncy, PA. August 2, 2008 from 9AM-5PM. Come down to Sam's Club for a hamburger or hot dog. We will also have hot and cold drinks, a bake sale and items to be raffled off.
Poker Ride at Ski Sawmill in Morris, PA. located near Wellsboro and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. October 4th and 5th, 2008. Come to scenic Morris and camp with us for both days or just come up for the ride. Bring your horse and families and ride these beautiful trails, we will have prizes for our winners, food and raffles. Here at the AHHR, we have a Community Outreach Program.
We visit elementary schools, nursing homes, church and youth groups. And any community organization. We also work closely with the local BLAST program, children from local schools along with their coaches, come up to the barn and learn all about working with the horses. We were honored at their dinner this year!
Pebbles, our mascot, loves meeting new people and teaching them about all the things that we do. Here she is with some of the students at Central Elementary School in South Williamsport and below saying, "Hi", to one of the students at L.C.C.S.

EMERGENCY HELP PROVIDED
Large animal transportation & boarding provided. In the event a traveler is transporting large animal(s) and the trailer or the towing vehicle is disabled, call AHHR and we will transport the animal(s) to our rescue facility at no charge.

!!SPONSOR A HORSE!! First choose from any horse or other animal being housed at our sanctuary. Then decide what level of sponsorship you are interested in:
6 months= $125, 3 months= $75, 1 month= $25, $10, or $5
Once you have become a sponsor, we will send you regular updates on the animal you choose, including a short bio, before and after, vet/health reports, pictures... etc.
