HORSES AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
Sometimes when we rescue these horses, they can be part of a cruelty seizure, possibly abandoned and a lot of times they are just unwanted. We try to find out what they know, as far as whether they can be ridden or possible behavior issues. Most times we can only guess. If possible, we will list everything we can, and as part of our adoption policy, we offer a 30-day trial period for any animal you might be interested in to make sure they are a good fit to your family.

Rosy is an 8 year old grey grade pony mare. She was part of a cruelty seizure so we don't know much about her. She can be unpredictable, a typical pony, but she gets along well with the other horses and can be led on a halter. She is available for adoption.

Jenevieve is a 10 year old Arab-cross mare. She is broke to ride, but she needs a firm, experienced hand as she can be unpredictable.

Maggie is a 6 year old Quarterhorse mare. She is broke to ride and needs a strong, experienced hand as she can be very dominant and unpredictable.

Taz is an 11 year old full-blooded grey Arabian gelding. He is very gentle and friendly and he is broke to ride. He suffers from arthritis in his front pastern, so he would only do well with light riding, he would also make an excellent pasturemate.

Tara is about 15 years old and a QH mare. She was abandoned, tied to someone's fence post, and just left there. The vet has been up to see her, she's in good health even though she's still a little thin. Tara is up to date on her shots now, has all her feet done and she was so good for our vet and farrier! She is calm and friendly, we think she would do well with either a beginner or an experienced owner.
